U.S. ARMY PARADE FLOAT
CELEBRATING 250 YEARS OF SERVICE
On New Year’s Day, history rolled through Pasadena, California. The Rose Parade float named “This We’ll Defend: 250 Years of Service” kicked off the U.S. Army’s year-long birthday celebration with a monumental tribute to all the Soldiers—starting with General George Washington—who have shaped America’s past, present, and future. Per tradition and parade rules, every surface of the float was covered by flowers and plant material.
